My new meds really screw with me for some reason. The good news is that I’m now almost back to my normal self. Say Anything for your time.

Brain drugs can be very tricky. I work in the Pharma industry, and most of the products are much more straight forward. Take X, it metabolizes into Y and is successful in treating Z in 95% of patients. But not brain drugs. Brain drugs are more like take X, we’re not exactly sure what happens in your body but it might treat your symptoms or it might make them worse. Come back in a month and we’ll talk.
Great choice of music btw.

Thanks! Yeah, brain drugs are always a “see what happens” type of thing. As for the band, have you listened to I Don’t Think It Is yet?

I recently had this massively expensive (they billed my insurance $5,500) genetic testing to at least see which drugs my body would metabolize properly:
Out of the 30 or so SSRI and SNRIs, only 4 were considered good (all SNRIs). That still leaves trial and error, as being absorbed correctly is still no indication that they will actually be effective. I’m currently on Pristiq, which is my 7th different drug in this category though, so it’s nice to have the additional guidance.

...I was not aware that there was a new Say Anything album out this year. I enjoyed Hebrews even if it was a break from the usual sound. Is a real boy and self titled are my favorites. When I get around to marrying my other half, we might dance to “Property” at the reception.

I Don’t Think It Is is all available to stream on youtube. 17 Coked Up Speeding is anthemic, whereas songs such as Attaboy and Give A Damn are characterized by heavy guitars and snarling vocals. Rum is a very interesting song because it gets more rhythmic as it goes along. It’s a very good listen from start to finish.
